Josie’s cottage has 4 bedrooms:
1 with a king size bed
1 with a double bed
2 twin bedrooms.
We have 1 bathroom with bathtub, shower over bathtub and WC
There is also a separate WC off the Utility/boot room
Our Lounge/diner has an open fireplace, TV
There is a Separate well equipped Kitchen
The little included extras
We really want you to be able to arrive unpack and immediately feel at home. We feel that everything you need to enjoy your holiday should be included in your rate so electricity and oil central heating is included. In the winter months you may want to enjoy an open fire and can do that with our starter pack.
Linen and towels are included (please let us know which rooms you will need based on your sleeping arrangements so we can ensure they are prepared)
There is a cot and high chair for smaller guests.
TV, dvd player, CD, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, w/machine, dryer, freeview, mobile phone reception – good, games console
There is a fully enclosed garden, garden furniture, bbq, private off road parking.
Pets welcome.

This double room comes with plenty of storage , the perfect place to relax after a day out sightseeing and wake up to the beautiful Irish views.
Breakfast ideas
Get your fresh bread from the local baker’s Clare the Baker in Carndonagh LINK
Our some great coffee take out and pancakes from the Diamond Café in Carn LINK
We also highly recommend bringing your breakfast back and enjoying it back in the cottage with the view ;-
Bedroom “A dó”
A second double room is the perfect spot to get away from it all, grab a book and chill.
The large picture window allows you to keep an eye on all that is going on in the valley, the weather and at night the beautiful skies.
DINNER IDEAS
The Rusty Nail– Clonmany. A visit to The Rusty Nail Pub is recommended for a refreshing drink and tasty food.
A ‘must see’ is a visit to McGrory’s infamous bar and restaurant. Enjoy fantastic food and traditional Irish music in the bar, whilst Mac’s Backroom Bar hosts live artists on a regular basis.
The Lounge Diner
Want a cosy night in with a book and a glass of red or the black stuff? Breakfast with a view ? Some down time watching TV or playing a games console? You can do it all here in Josie’s cottage
OUT AND ABOUT IDEAS FOR THE DAY TIME
There are so many things to see and do so we recommend either checking out our links to our favourite eateries (on the home page) ..or another favourite thing we like to do is to pack up a lovely picnic, a thermos of coffee and enjoy some of the beautiful coastline.
Twin Room “A trí”
We have 2 twin rooms perfect for children or friends travelling together .
Sheets and towels are included. Do please let us know your sleeping preferences so we can make up the right beds for you.
Twin Room “A ceathair”
The second of our twin rooms makes Josie’s cottage the perfect place for 2 small families to holiday together or of course a group of friends, or a larger family.
Kitchen & Utility
We have a well equipped family kitchen here where we hope we have thought about your needs. Whether you are eating in, planning a picnic or going to eat out the kitchen and utility area will help you create your home from home.
